Peter Hansen - Real Life

This part of my webspace I have chosen to present what I would think of as my real life. I think what I like to spend my time doing when I am off is ordinary compared to people climbing mountains or doing base-jumping. My interests are more in the realm of listening to good music, watch a movie, do some travelling, or spend time with friends and family.

I have a broad sense of taste in music and I like particular blues music, traditional jazz, classic rock, gospel and some country music. I also like classical music, and enjoy opera. Look here to find out more about my taste in music.

I like sci-fi movies especially Star Trek - The Next Generation, and Star Wars. However, a classic movie with Jack Nicolson or a Sergio Leone western featuring Clint Eastwood is always worth seeing. I also enjoy watching "Married with Children" perhaps because it's so political incorrect. One of my other favorite shows are the yellow family, better known as The Simpsons. From my DVD collection you should be able to capture my taste in movies.

I am a lover of good food! I won’t comment my skills in a kitchen, though I know I make an excellent lasagna. I like typical traditional Danish food like roasted pork, or fried meatballs. When I am dinning out, I love seafood or a good steak! One of the exciting experiences when you travel is the local food. Eat French food in France, Italian in Italy, and when you are in US the land of the free and home of the brave has alot more to offer than McDonalds. I like to travel, not that I love the actual transportation, but I like to see new places, meet new people, and get new inputs from arround the globe. I have been to Europe and North America. My favorite country is US where I live. Since I live in the Washington DC area that is the focal point of my activities, but have also been to the South, the Midwest, the Westcoast and Hawaii.

I like to go skiing in the winter and when I was living in Denmark I usually went to Norway. However, you can find much more about my taste in travel here.
